Executive General Manager - Emma Kurtovich

Emma Kurtovich has been appointed as the Executive General Manager of CRL Ltd, bringing a deep understanding of the City Rail Link project and its operating environment. Emma has been with CRL Ltd since 2021. In her role as General Counsel and Company Secretary, Emma has been an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team and has advised the Chief Executive, Board and Sponsors on significant strategic, legal and commercial matters.

Emma brings with her a wealth of experience in construction and infrastructure. Before joining CRL Ltd, Emma worked in the tier one construction and infrastructure disputes practice at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in the United Kingdom and prior to that in the construction and infrastructure division at the legal firm of MinterEllisonRuddWatts in Auckland.

Emma's combination of project knowledge, commercial judgement, governance expertise and strong stakeholder relationships positions her well to help lead CRL Ltd through the next phase of project close-out.

As Executive General Manager, Emma succeeds Patrick Brockie who is stepping down as Chief Executive of CRL Ltd.
